Apprenticeship Program
The purpose of JTC's apprenticeship program is to offer students the opportunity to be directly involved with the leadership team of a full-scale JTC production: The Social Secretary by Ellen Dean Price. From our applicants, we will select one or two students to become part of the team for the company's spring production, with the title of Production Assistant. They will attend rehearsals, have backstage access during dress rehearsals and shows, and receive mentorship from our experienced directors and crew members.

Students will be expected to attend most rehearsals. During these rehearsals, they will track along with the script to watch for dropped lines, stand in for missing actors, and assist with small tasks as delegated by the director or stage manager, if needed.

JTC is also happy to provide an optional final grade for this project. The apprenticeship program will last from mid-October through mid-February, with a holiday break.

The program is $150 for the entire semester.
